Audi A4 2011 (B8) wiper replacement
Hi - I am new to the forum, this is my first post
I bought Rain-X latitude wipers from Amazon following their compatibility check that stated that these would fit A4 2011 - they did not fit. The fitting that comes with the wipers is slightly off the shape that Audi uses and makes it impossible to install. I've been searching online for anyone with the similar problem and couldn't find anything. So instead of buying Audi's replacement wipers or the Bosch (found this post: Bosch A297S Sources Update (forked from "Dear Audi, your wipers suck") - AudiWorld Forums) I took the original wipers and the Rain-X wipers apart, replacing the blade and other "guts" onto Audi's wiper metal frame with Audi's original attachement. It works great in the rain but did not have a chance to test them in the snow yet. Has anyone else tried to do that? I also took pics if anyone is interested I can post them up here. |
i haven't needed a set and i have a 2010 with 25k on it. this would be great info though

Theres a new wiper from PIAA thats made to fit higher end European cars. Its the PIAA Silencio. Check if your made and model year is listed. Its not cheap, though.
