I have a 2012 audi a4, i bought the car back in october and it hasn’t gave me any problems up until now. i was exiting off the highway earlier and pulled up to a stop. when i hit the gas pedal it took very to get going and was vibrating while accelerating. i hit around 3500 rpm and was barely going over 20, does anyone know whats wrong with it?

 

Behavior like that should have thrown a CEL and you need to pull/post codes. If you don't have a reader, Autozone or equivalent usually will read them for free. I am curious if in neutral the engine revs normally? If the engine revs up/down and the rpm's are steady and not pulsing, it sounds like something is going on with your transmission. You did not mention it but if it is an MT6, a slipping clutch will result in high engine revs but not much forward speed.
