Audi Advanced Key With Premium Plus
 

Hi All,
I am going to get a new A4 and am debating between the Premium Plus package with B & 0 and 18" 5 spoke rims or the prestige package. Honestly I don't really want most of the extra stuff in the prestige package, but I REALLY want the advanced key feature. Is it possible for the dealer to order that with the premium plus package? Never bought an Audi, but I know that with BMW's the dealer can order special combos that aren't available on the website.

i'm sure you can get the B&O stereo in the premium package as an option. that stereo system is amazing. i wish i had it. :-(

The sound system is an option for the premium plus package. As for the advance key system, I believe that it only comes with the prestige models.

Why not just ask the dealer, they will have a more definite answer...

Thanks for the responses. I don't have a delear yet and wanted to reach out to the web first. Sometimes what one dealer will say no to another can do.

I really don't think you can special order a P+ with a key option. But it doesn't hurt to ask. There's a reason car makers have packages. And it isn't for the consumer's convenience or benefit.

I checked with some dealers and the advanced key feature can't be ordered with the Prem + package. I find Audi's system of packages to be really annoying. Even someone like BMW allows you to order package features as options if you want.

Look around at some other makes, and you can be even more limited with even larger packages.

Audi isn't the best...but its far from the worst in that respect.

BMW certianly has the indiviual options. But be ready to pay significantly more all said and done.

You can't get the Advanced Key on P+, have to go to prestige. Completely agree about the options with Audi being a pain and Advanced Key is a perfect example - it comes standard on almost every Japanese brand, but you have to go two trims up to get it on Audi. I have a Prestige and I am completely happy with all the features. My car also came with the Audi Side Assist, which I was completely against paying for (and didn't) but it is actually a really good system because I noticed the A4 has a big blindspot because of the C and D pillars.

Funny thing is that it is standard on lots of entry level cars now.

I just went with Prem +, didn't want to pay extra for features I didn't really want (especially Nav).
