I finally got to drive an A4 with sports suspension. No complaints at all about handling--much better than the base A4. Maybe my memory is bad, but the steering also seemed tight like an A4 should be--not light as I remember from the base A4 a month ago.

I'll try both sport and standard one after the other on the weekend.

Now I just have to decide if the slightly rougher ride, summer-only tires and lower height are worth it. All are detriments to me since this car needs to take me to the Sierras whenever I want--including in snow.

 

I haven't driven the sport suspension yet myself. But in the past the sport suspension has made a big difference.
