I was planing to tint my windows. I searched the NY State legislature on-line and found pending bills in committee. They plan to make tint density an annual inspection item and increase fines for violations. I believe only 75% sides are the limit. Not worth the hassle IMHO.
Seems an Officer was killed while approaching an SUV with tinted windows.
I assume it will pass. Tickets are a revenue source and the Governor is blind.

I did 35% with CXP Sun Tek, a carbon film the cuts out twice the UV....car stays significantly cooler and here in the south that is important. 35% on my dark gray gives it the finishing touch it needed.
PS...law states 27.5% is legal for SC...even thou all the unmarked LEO cars are 5%
