I just got a new 2010 A4 2.0T with the prem+ package, and I would like to replace the stock exhaust tips with stainless steel/chrome tips. But before I purchase a pair I was wondering if anyone could provide some sort of instructions to change out the old ones with the new. Thanks!

 

I told the sales guy if he threw in the tips he had a deal... and he did... but I don't think they are very hard to install... the instructions should come with the tips and I doubt it will be hard at all to install..

 

my premium package included tips. it can't be too difficult. i think the tips come with a set screw. the pipes should have a hole for the set screw.

 

assuming you buy the Audi OEM tips, they just slide on right over the pipes (no screws involved) and are held in place by springy-grippy (for lack of a better term) things inside the tips....just need to be sure you line up the angle of the tips with the pipes themselves so they're flush with the rear valence
