"Perfect Shift" How to accelerate faster
Well all cars will but you will need to drive for a bit in the A4 before you learn where the sweet spots are. Youll need to see when the car stops producing more BHP and change just before that, you dont want to change gear when the BHP has began to flatline because when you change gear the car will lag I beleive.
Dont forget the petrols are Turbos so youll need to ride that into it aswell.

Do you always drive in S or do you drive in D? I feel like sport would be better performance but use more gas, but i'm at 15MPG City on D anyway so what difference does it make?
If anyone can find the HP/Torque curve charts, you can pretty well determine the best shift points from that. Since the 2.0 has forced induction, it will likely need to be "short shifted" compared to a naturally aspirated engine. Honestly though, you likely need to make several timed runs (or find a good automotive review) to see what provides the best acceleration.
