All the new B8 A4 Audis come with a 3.5mm AUX plug in the armrest. So you can plug your Zune into this. I have done the exact same thing with my HTC Touch HD and Apple Ipod Touch. All controls are completed by the device itself as the 3.5mm plug carries nothing but the audio. You can use the Volume on the dash but not track skip etc.

Only if you have an Ipod can you really use the Audi Interface to get the track listing up on the MMI screen on the dash. They charge a small fortune for this connectivity and there seems to be all sorts of problems in the UK with people not getting the right connector for their ipod depending on the generation of ipod they have.

so I would suggest that you ensure the US Spec gets the AUX in plug in the armrest (there is a 12v socket in there to) and you will be able to use your Zune on your A4. Dont forget you will be getting a SD slot to so you can use the 4GB cards to carry a collection of music too!

Thumbs up

hey clam chowder....not too late, made a last minute decision in the dealer and ordered the 6 speed Manual. the best part was the payment dropped 15 dollars a month. They said i was one of the first to order this car with the manual...i guess they were just made available, so i feel lucky. Got a great price on the car also 41,888. it was like 500 cheaper than invoice. I got just about every option availabe
