Tires/Poor Handling - 2015 A4

Hi, I bought a about a year ago that came with Continental, Conti Sport Contact 3,255/35/ZR19 tires mounted on 19" Audi SportŪ5-arm-rotor design wheels. From day one the car seemed to track/pull relatively hard right or left, especially in a cooler weather. The issue is to the extent that it is a bit unsettling when it occurs, as you have to correct by pulling the steering wheel in the opposite direction to avoid drifting in the direction it is pulling and then it will track in that direction. Service department says they do not feel the handling is unusual. I put on different wheels and tires for the winter -- they handle great with no tracking or pulling and wish the Contisportcontact 3 arrangement handled the same.

Anyone else have this problem? Do you think it could be a defective tire (I tend to doubt it as the problem persisted after tires were rotated).

I am looking to replace the tires, probably with something that is a bit of an easier ride. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for your thoughts on this issue.

The all season tires on my B7 did something like that depending on the road surface. North of where I live there is an 11 mile stretch of highway that as an experiment, the pavement was grooved. Not only is it noisy, but it grabs and pulls the tires. My old Pirelli's had wider tread blocks and seemed to not be affected by the narrow pavement groves. My Michelin's have very narrow tread blocks, and seemed to catch or fall into the grooved pavement, yanking the car around. It's a bit unsettling at 70 mph.
