Window tinting on Audi A4
 

So i bought my audi and the window's weren't already tinted. So I want to get my windows tinted and the problem is that i don't know which type of tint film should be used on my car. I don't want to get cheap equality film that pears or rips easily but i rather have good ones that actually last a good amount of time like 1-2 years. So any suggestions on what type of film i should get on my audi? I live in Danbury, CT and have been meaning to call places that have tinting service but want to get more information before i do that.

3m is good stuff. I like really dark, like 5percent dark. You should NOT pay more than 200 for your entire car and that's for good tint and 5percent. I've tinted every car I've ever owned and its always lasted several years if you get it done right. I live in the Seattle area so I can't help you on a shop to chose. Good luck. Our euro A4 B8 Avant has factory tinting. The backdoor windows are tinted glass and the rear windows and back window is tinted with film. The factory used LLumar films (this stated by the warranty certificate for the tinting).
