Default RE: Audi reneges on warranty?

I am getting a pre-owned 06 2.0 A4 from Danbury, CT dealer. The rep told me they don't cover wear and tear such as windshield wiper, brake pad stuff like that anymore. So I wonder for the regular maintenance service such as oil chage, air filter. Will they charge me the oil filter (the part) if I bring the car to the regular maintenace within the 4 yrs/50,000 miles warranty. Any experience?

audi just replaced my brake pads about three months ago and my a4 is lowered 2" with 18's and aftermarket swaybars, and they replaced two of the axles because i tore the rubber boot from being too low, i would call the audi 800 number because that is bull$h!t.

This interests me since I am taking my 2005 A4 in tomorrow for its 1 year service. I haven't hit 15,000 miles yet, only 12K but still I am taking it in. Since Audi is changing the rules for 2007 I wonder how it will effect us that bought the car with the warranty package. I will ask around tomorrow and see what info I can muster up on this. It really interst me because I am thinking of adding another Audi to the garage next year and the free maintenance was a big selling point for me.

Ther rep is correct. As of MY2006 the Audi scheduled mainteneance program has dropped the WEAR AND TEAR items from it's coverage, including brake pads, rotors, wipers etc. The 2005.5 B7 is STILL covered for all wear and tear items.

Your regular scheduled maintenance, oil and filter changes, and scheduled services will all be covered by the scheduled maintenance program as set out in your maintenance booklet. These will be performed at NO charge to you.

That is just plain illegal. You need to contact the audi arbitration representative. Jeep used to pull this kind of crap and you can fight and win it.
