93 Octane in Kansas??
 

Does anyone know if there are any 93 Octane gas stations around the Lawrence/KC, KS area? I can't seem to find any around here.

try checking gasbuddy for your area-it should tell you where you can buy premium at the best prices

Thanks for the reply but I have not problem finding 91 octane. I'm trying to find specifically 93 or higher octane to be able to use that feature of my APR software. Anyone have more suggestions???

Gasoline companies change octane numbers depending where the gasoline is being sold. For some reason the North East they sell 93-94 octane pump gas as premium fuel, while in many other parts of the country 91 octane is considered premium. Usually the higher the elevation the lower the octane for premium; however, Lawrence, KS is only about 1000 ft above sea level, so that excuse makes no sense. Sunoco sells 94 Octane on the East coast, but there may be no Sunoco stations in Lawrence.

This is Overland Park area but 151st and 69 highway right at the exit there is a bp, and last time I checked it sold 93. Could be wrong though.

BP Stations sell 93 Octane all over Kansas.

Really? I can only find 91 octane and a couple 92 octane stations, which don't help me out. Where are some of the BP stations located that have 93?

I just called them and they do still have 93 available there. Is there anywhere else that anyone knows of?

That was the only place I've ever seen that had it within 20-30 miles from my house

The 4 Waterway Carwashes in Kansas City all have BP 93octane. 1 in Leawood,
2 in Overland Park and one at State Line and 85th. There is also 2 south of 435
on State Line.
