Default Kansas City good timing belt price

Greetings everyone. I have an 01 S4 that I just bought with 109K on it. I went ahead and had the timing belt done on it like everyone in the forums recommend. I think I got a great price and wanted to let all of you know about it in case anyone was looking to get theirs done soon. I took it to Anderson Automotive in Olathe and paid $925 for the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat. That includes parts, labor, and taxes. The tensioners weren't done as I was told by the mechanic that theywere fineeven though I told him that I would gladly replace them.

The people were very friendly and they have done timing belts on numerous Audis. I called 2 major Audi repair shops in KC that I won't mention and was quoted $1700 and $2100. So far everything works great and I will go back to them again in the future for other repairs.

I called 2 major Audi repair shops in KC that I won't mention and was quoted $1700 and $2100. depends on what they would do and the warranty ( if the tensioners went you have no cover ) but saying that Ive done many and said the tensions are ok and left it to the owner to decide so I was covered by the law, you have to pay again if hes wrong as its advice only ( work done on warranty standards which carry a seal of approval/licenced regardless of garage who did it ) means everything they said covers you on the timing belt and other parts replaced ( not the tensioners )
