Chop it up
Looking for some thoughts and opinions. Im wanting to rebuild my baby. This car has been my saving grace and I've went threw countless others, while Ive just threw pennies and nickles at this gem and it just keeps going. I dont want a rolex. Timex chop, takes a licking and keeps on ticking kind of ride. 96 a4 quattro 2.8 5 speed manual. What would be the best, most afforable, and easiest swap? Im wanting to swap interior dash ect.., motor, and drive train if need be and as much as i can without alot of new holes cutting welding and grinding. Im looking at doners and want the best most efficient swap I can get. What can I do? Thanks in advance!

Hi there! I wish I had that engine in my A6! Is there not any tuning modifications you can do to your existing engine? This way you wouldn't have to chop up your lovely car! As regards e engine swap, what model so you have?

When working with automotive parts and auto bodywork, it is usually best to use welds that give the strongest bonding of the metal at the atomic level. I want to recommend this Welding Supplies https://bilba.com.au/ so you can buy all the necessary welding equipment and gear. By the way, I recently bought a Kemppi Evo 200 welding machine and am very pleased.
