I'd just like to get some opinions on how this looks. The first picture is of my car in its current form. The second one is of what I'm considering. (painting the trim on the bottom of the doors black)

I'd say leave it as is... the black trim makes things unflow, if you know what I mean...

 

Well I just found out a guy in my area is driving a silver A6 2.7t with smoked tails, black BBS RC rims, and black trim on the bottom of the doors. Can't be too much alike now can I?

Its not a bad look in person I don't think, but I'm not going with it.

 

I'm in agreement with Brad. It breaks up the visual lines. Leave it off.

 

I actually think it looks pretty rad with the black there.
