1995 80 Coupe Air bag dashboard light
 

Hi everyone,

I have an 80 coupe. I took the steering wheel off to replace dash bulbs and when putting the steering wheel back on cut through the brown wire that goes into the steering wheel. Stupid right?

Fixed the wire but now the airbag light is constantly on. I've replaced the airbag and the sensor in the centre console but it's still on. Even if I disconnect the sensor the light stays on.

Anyone any ideas as I'm lost.

Appreciate any help or advice.

P.S. For those of you outside of the UK lights are checked as part of the yearly test. A light staying on is a fail.
