My car ran great up until about a month ago but all oy a sudden it wouldnt start my 1st thought is the ignition coil cause it had power to it but no power coming out of it so i replaced the with a brand new one but it still wont start! Anybody have any ideas on what it might be! Please help

 

describe what it does when you turn the key...are you hearing relays or anything, does it crank, did you do a spark check on the plugs by grounding to the block, etc. I have the same car but an 88 I might be able to help you. I have had so many different starting issues but they have all been remedied. Also what is the weather like where you live and what kind of gas do you use and from where (water perhaps in tank: dry-gas it)?

what kind of starting problem is it? is it intermittent? does it sometimes sound like it wants to start, but it's just not catching? I know mine was doing that, and it turns out the problem was the distributor. It was the wrong part, but if you've had your vehicle for a while, i don't think that would be the issue, unless you've had this problem for a long time.
