Hello all. I have an '87 4kq and am replacing suspension components. A few years back I talked to some folks in the north midwest. Minnesota, Wisonconsin, sorry to lump you all, but somewhere up there. They made their own beefed up tie rod arms for racing their cars.

I can't find them online any more and am wondering if anyone here knows how I might get in touch with them.

I originally found them following links on a website that listed suspension mods for the car and had a tag line something like, "turn your 4000 into a panzer tank", or something like that.

Maybe they were using parts from 034 Motorsport? I'll ask some of the Audi guys next time i see them.

 

Thanks for the reply. Looks like a good site. If I remember right the guy I talked to said they were making their own.

 

034 basically keeps these cars on the road imo. They're also the best Audi tune shop in the country probably. They're good people. 034 also hosts motorgeek.com. If you've not gone there, go. MG is the BEST place to learn about these cars. There are a couple people on that forum who have made their own control arms.
