Is there a way to adjust the clutch pedal so it does not jam on the linkage? I had a problem today where the linkage tried to go the wrong direction and the pedal jammed on the floor it would not do anything but go the wrong way. I was watching it "hang up" under the dash, but couldn't see anything blatant. A couple of hours later everything was fine, and I can't get the problem to repeat. Any thoughts?

 

By the way the Clutch cylinders are both all good.

 

there is a spring/pistion type of deal that pushes the pedal back .... take a look at it

 

I am fairly sure that it was a problem with that return spring mechanism I just wasn't sure if there is someway to maybe prevent this from happening again, or if its a sign of a greater failure.

you might need to replace that mechanism ... i don't know if it's adjustable

 

I have the similar problem. Somtimes when I get in my car my clutch pedal is down a little and then after driving for about 5 minutes it comes up all the way. Whats that about?
