New to Audi & need help identifying a part
Hello Everyone
I'm a first time Audi owner who always wanted a 5000 when I was a kid. I came across a 1985 5000s non turbo Avant about a month ago and snapped it up for about $400. The odo on the car even says it has a little over 30K mi I've been buying parts to ensure it passes smog (IE o2 sensor, fuel filter) but also noticed another part that needs replacement. After taking a pic of the part to the local AutoZone, I was told that this part is either from the EGR system or a vacuum piece of some sort. Ive attached a pic below and would greatly appreciate any help in identifying it. Thanks in advance!

That is the vacuum actuator for the cruise control. Here's one on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cruise-Control-Vacuum-Actuator-OEM-811-907-327-B-Audi-A4-A8-V8-VW-Passat-B5-/301671180326?fits=Make%3AAudi&hash=item463d00e826&vxp=mtr
Part number (811-901-327B) according to my sources is the same for the Audi 5000's. I have one (an 87 5000SQ) that I'm rebuilding and I'm 100% sure on this. All you need to do is unbolt it from the bracket in the picture and bolt it to the bracket on yours. Connect the vacuum line and linkage and you're done. The vacuum source for this is an electric pump under the back seat so it's not causing a vacuum leak in the engine.
HTH,
Dave

Looking for Diverter Valve
Hey Guys, I'm a recent audi owner, I have the 2018 A1 1.0 and would like to know if it has and where the diverter valve would be located, yes I do want to see how it would sound with the turbo flutter 😂 but I can't seem to find any proper diagrams or information on the engine
Also apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place, I'm new to forums as well
Thanks in advance
