New here...and an ABS problem. Audi 5000s Quattro
Hello all. I'm new here and new to the Audi world. You could call me a convert from the VW world. My previous car being a 1980 VW Rabbit.
Now its this Audi 5000s Quattro.
Great car. Runs perfectly. looks great. Immaculate interior.
Incredibly hard to even make the tires squeek even when hard on around tight corners.
Now the bad. There are two things wrong with it.
The ac compressor is shot (thought the climate control system still tries to kick it on).
And thought the brakes have been fixed and pretty much replaced the red triangle and the word "brake" flash all the time.
The ABS works great. Stomp on it hard and you can feel the pulsations.
So how do I reset this light?
Anyway. Here it is.

Please
This is the only forum I can find on this car. The only other problem I found common to these cars is that the brake hydro-accumulator usually goes out. However the previous owner replaced this and I've done the standard test by which you turn off the car and pump the brakes counting the number of times it takes till the pedal suddenly goes firm. Mine takes 32 and it needs to be over 30 for the brake hydro-accumulator to be ok.
