Resetting the ECM...
Is there a special procedure or is it just the standard disconnect the battery, and let sit? As was in a previous post I am having problems with the car idling. I have replaced all the vacuum lines, cleaned the throttle body and IACV, re-clamped everything, new o-ring for dipstick tube. While this is a significant improvement in smoothness and overall running the car still will not come to a stop light and idle. If you start the car warm it will idle at about 600 rpm but the second you hit the gas and let go it will stall. If the IACV is unplugged the car is very smooth and will idle between 800-1200 rpm, never stalling. When I redid the vacuum lines and etc the engine vacuum rose from about 12 to 17 which does not waver at idle which should mean the vacuum system is tight. Any chance by fixing a major vacuum leak the ecm is now over fueling the engine at idle? Or should I just replace the valve and hope?

UPDATE: The ECM reset helped, and the car ran for a couple of days fairly well never stalling, but a couple of days later its up to the same tricks. I think the valve is dead/dying because I can not find anything else it could be. The engine idles so smooth as long the valve is disconnected.
