1999 Audi A4 2.8 Supercharged Avant Quattro

I don't know if the tile even makes sense but i have a guy who wants to trade me his audi for a car i have and he says it has a "couple" of issues... this is what he can tell me about the car...

199.5 Audi a4 avant quattro 2.8 litre v-6 with tip-tronic transmission. 148,??? miles on body. engine rebuilt with forged pistons at 80,000 PES G2 super charger was installed at this time with GIAC stage 2 ecu chip, 93 octane tune (does not like anything less) RC injectors RC 3-5 bar adjustable fuel pressure regulator, NGK plugs and wires, heads and super charger have been port matched and polished, throttle body has been cleaned, water pump and timing belt were changed, radiator flush, cat delete muffler delete, 4" dc anodized tip welded on, vaccum lines have been replaced new crank sensor, needs a maf sensor (random misfire code). trans rebuilt at 122,000 new solenoids drilled body, stronger clutch pack, GIAC trans chip installed. Porsche 944 rear diff internals (limited slip) housing was machined to fit the swap.Raceland Ultimo adjudtable coilovers, new rear wheel bearings the entire front end was rebuilt last spring with all BLAUN components. new front brake rotors;pads;calipers, 18"x 8" 1.5" lip ACE rims needs one tire, the other three are 45% tread left( had a flat thats why its on the temp tire) all synthetic fluids oil changed every 4,000 trans fluid and flush every 10,000 brake and diff fluid every 15,000.comes with genuine Ross-tech vagcom obd2 interface dongle.

i have taken a ride in the car and its missing severely and he drives it this way but in manual mode and shifts in higher rpm says it drives better this way. he tells me that the MAF sensor will fix the rough idle and shitty performance but I'm skeptical. i don't want to trade a good running suv and end up losing my ass and have to forfeit even more money to fix after the trade. I'm a ford guy only because thats all I've had all my life and I've never had bad luck with one but I've always liked how audis looked and performed.... i just dont want this one to ruin it for the rest in the future if you know what i mean... any and all opinions and advice would be greatly appreciated.
