2008 Q7 4.2 Check engine light on

2008 Q7 4.2 Check engine light on
I have been getting a check engine light on and off for a few days now. I have the VAG software and this is the information that I was able to get.
Emission related fault codes.
Address 7E8: 1 fault found
P0089 - Valve for Fuel metering (N290): Implausible Signal
Address 7E9: No fault code found.
Browsing the web it talks about so many different items that this code can be from a fuel sensor to a fuel pump but on A4 cars i didnt see anything that states this error for a Q7.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
