Backstory: car stalled, had it towed home, ended up replacing fuel pump, and when I did so, there was about a cup of sugar in the space by the pump...I can only assume theres more sugar.
Question is: can the fuel system be flushed without having to drop the fuel tank? A shop quoted me 1200 for labor on dropping fuel tank and I am a bit weary of this money pit car...lol any advice is appreciated. It is a 2001 Audi A6 Quattro, 2.7L
