Cool site, but I don't see a chip for the 2006 A6 (C6) 4.2. Maybe it's not out yet?

So which one is it and how do I get it? Again, I have a 2006 A6 4.2 with 335 hp. Nothing on the website that I can find matches this car. The only A6 4.2 (C6) on your site is the S6 engine with 450 hp.

 

Just so you know normally aspirated chips are not the best bang for the buck. A few hp for hundreds of $?

 

Is there a better alternative, or do you suggest just living with the 325 hp? Granted, it's a pretty cool ride the way it is -- just looking for a bit of extra zip -- 0 to 60 in 6 seconds is fine - just not great.

 

Get it supercharged.

 

Pardon my ignorance, but what does that entail and how much does it cost? Does it reduce engine life?

If you are serious about getting some pretty substantial gains, it's a pretty damn nice way to go. Very expensive though. Couple of grand. I was just throwing it out there. If you have a couple hundred bucks to spend, you may as well spend it on exhaust. I was looking at chips for my A6 but they are just too expensive compared to the other Audi models. You should do some exterior mods to it. I like my engine just the way it is.
