does n e one know of a site that could give me some info? I have been looking and it seems they are all in the UK. Does anyone know what HP is gained in a chip for a 99 A6 2.8? Or what the best way to go is? I have been checking out some posts but cant find anything. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Well you have a V6 2.8 and there is not too much compared to T/C or S/C cars when it comes to chipping for power since you have a automatic and are very limited

You though can find a chip since your A6 is a 30v but you will need to do other things to assist that chip.

Upgrade your throttle body

some port and polish of the heads and manifolds

upgrade your exhaust system

I have the Upsolute chip btw and along with my mod's its alot better then stock...I mean alot better.

 

I got the S6 with the 2.2 L5 turbo, but i also have a 1995 90 with the 2.8 12 valve. nice car you got there. anyhow, i found out about the 2.2 and the work that can be done to it. its utterly amazing what can be done to these engines.
