help needed, audi b5 won't drive
 

hello, i am in need of urgent help as my b5 a4 2001 tiptronic transmission will not drive forward or reverse, it just happened, changed the tranny oil, drove it , reversed in the garage and it just stopped driving. help please

Sounds like u need a new transmission breda, if no one has ever service that tranny before thats your problem. With the new fluid all the clutch fibres break down with the new oil thats your no move.

took off the lines to the transmission cooler and i have no flow so it seems kike an oil pump problem

My fren is rite,u do need a new tranny never been serviced before and the service that you service it kills thefiber plates.

its not that easy in my country since audi is not a popular make therefore no trannys around to buy. would have to import one. its easier to import a kit than a tranny so i will pull down and check.

Just for thought. How many quarts/liters you put in there? And how did you check the fluid?

problem found. the transmission pump drive ears for the torque converter was broken off. therefore no pump pressure. changed the oil pump and all is good now. thanks everyone for your input.
