Hiya everyone, I hope someone might have a suggestion for me as to what I need to do about the following issue.

I have a 2007 A4 2.0tdi S-Line 170 with 69k on it and FSH. I bought it about 2 monthes ago and am more than happy with it.

In the last week or so however I have noticed that when the engine is first started, the exhaust fumes STINK.. and I mena pretty damn strong.. smell like gas. And also when travelling if not giving the car alot of revs there is the occasional hiccup from the engine, best described as the type of hiccup you'd get if you accidentally put some pressure on the clutch. It's fine if you then give it some revs, really confusing me. It doesnt offer to cut out and on a decent run where you arent in any low gears its fine.

Would love to hear any suggestions.

I should point out that the smell is only when stood outside the car (un less windows are down of course)
