stalling out

I have a problem that I can figure out, i have a 03 A4 auto and have 90k on it. Now ever so offen when i start the car it turns on and the rpms shoot up and then all of sudden it stalls out. I didnt know if i had a problem with my throttle body or the wiring to it. It will only do it every so offen prolly once a day can range from just turning off and back on to sitting in a parking lot slamming my head into the dash because it wont start. Even when i start it i will give it gas and sometimes that works but alot of the time it will shoot up to 2gs then just stall out. Any help would be awesome because i am not to good with engine problems

thanks

Chek throttle body and adjust check for lose plug. Happend to me. Just fix that on A4 1.8 quatrro. Check that

Check your battery compartment and your Plenum Drain. You might be getting moisture into your computer system. Or like In my case a full on flood.
