So I live in PA, and I've found a good deal on a CPO car from Audi of Willoughby in Ohio, so I'm thinking about getting the car from them.

Now, I've been told that I shouldn't buy cars out of state, since they (the dealer) know that if anything goes wrong, it will be difficult for me to complain to them about it, seeing as I live 4 hours away.

Is there any merit to this claim?

Also, when deciding where to buy a CPO audi, how much weight should I put on the dealer ratings from dealerrater.com? Does it matter that much when it comes to purchasing CPO vehicles?
