genuine audi parts . com are they really genuine?

Didn't know where to put this thead. Well the title says it all. I recently overheated the engine on my 03 TT quatro, checked the head and it was fine, no cracks, just a lil twisted. So i mealed it at a machineshop and now looking for a new head gasket and head bolts. So once again my question is: are genuine audi parts . com really sell genuine parts? Because their had gasket is twice cheaper than what my local dealer wants.

Looks legit.

Still a couple bucks cheaper at ecstuning.com

Dealer parts counter prices are almost always marked up, sometimes considerably

i contacted ecs tunning and they don't sell genuine head gasket by itself, only the kit.

I've used parts.com and never received a part for any car that was not a genuine factory part. I've just bought a part my my wife's Jeep I got yesterday, in the past gotten parts for our MB's and GMC Canyon. Their shipping is sorta high, but still cheaper overall than any other source I've found.

We even did a price-off at the MB forum I moderate and people submitted prices for a front brake job (rotors, pads, sensor) from their favorite online store and parts.com was the winner.
