I have ordered a new A3 sportback and is due for collection in about 4 weeks. The dealership has mentioned that he PX deal needs to have a valid MOT and a decent amount of road tax in order for them to sell it on. Am I being done on this as I have PX'd a few cars now and have never heard of this? My roadtax is due at the end of Nvember but the PX will be on 24th November....I am effectively handing a car over with a new road tax which starts a week later. This was never mentioned when we ordered the previous audi at a different dealership. Had to cancel the original order as we were moving abroad. I have aready had to accet a lower offer and now they are trying to get 6 mnths car tax out of me for the old car!!!
