2009 2.0t A4 timing chain information
 

Hello so I am not very familiar with audi motors just started at a used car dealership, I have this 2009 a4 that the intake melted on the number 2 cylinder. I am currently trying to decide weather to pull the motor or just the head (im leaning toward just the head). But I dont know the process of how to not mess with the timing (speaking of the nightmare stories I have heard about messing the timing up from touching crankshaft bolt). So my question for everyone is, will touching the crank bolt mess the timing up?
