I live in the middle east, I have an Audi A5 2010 sportback 2.0, it has always suffered from greabox issues (mostly mechatronic and sensors), after all the checkups and analytics the entire ZF gearbox needs to be changed, and I got the price, including installation service and two year warranty, from the dealership, of around 4700 USDs (supposedly after goodwill), they offered me that versus changing just the mechatronic and damaged sensors for 3500 USD.
I want to know what is the price range for a brand new gearbox on this car (what's the MSRP), basically I wanna know whether im being screwed by the dealrship or not in that case, is 4700 a good price? the car has only 60,000 KM with regular service but its out of warranty, so im counting alot on goodwill here.
