beat up 01 acura CL , ProReflection

what we have here is the story of the ugly frog.
The initial message was has few scratches , chips and needs clay and a polish. My first impression when I saw the car: oxidation and swirl city , not big deal till I run the paint gauge around the car and see the real deal : 4 panels repainted/body work (clay bar was red after clay the rear window), 2 panels with thin spots (hood, roof), trunk very-very thin (under 100 microns).
With all know I decide to go light on trunk and everything else to bring to an 80%+ paint correction , full correction was out of question with all the repaint/thin spots panels.
Process: wash with nxt , clay bar , wash nxt again , tires and wheels was clean and dress with klasse and tire gel.
Mask everything , and went with rotary meg 83 on polish pad all around except trunk , was fallow by PC meg 205 on finish pad inclusive trunk .
Car was sealed with m21 on finish pad PC, and waxed with nxt 2, by hand.
Got some minor interior done , headlights restore , windows in and out.
I would say my paint gauge just paid itself on this project.
Enjoy the pictures of a 8 years old car, daily driver before and after detail.

oaky someone has got to show me how to do this, cause i have the same car but its a TL Type-S and its has swirls, sctaches and rock chips, but not too much worse than this one, and i want to make it look like the CL, can someone please show me to a link where it tells you about what materials you need and a good tutorial and how to do it

well u invest in tools and learn yourself or you pay some pro to do it for you.
for removing heavy paint defects the best tool is rotary and is a powerfull tool. for polish or light defects an dual action orbital buffer / portal cable is good.
u need a min of 2-3 compoiunds/polish and 2-3 foam pads.
usually takes a good day to detail a whole car.
u wash the car , u clay bar , u rinse teh car again and before u start the whole car u do a test spot on hood or trunk and test what combination pad compound will remove the swirl and defects. afte rthat u do the whole car.
this is to have an idea of the process.
