Wheel Cleaner .....
brake dust and the like ..... any opinions ? I'm rocking stock 5 spoke alloy's :D

I used glass cleaner, and when there was dust that wouldn't come off with it, I used Simple Green degreaser - cleans it right up.

Meguiar's G-9524 Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner, it works good and not expensive...only $8.66.

oem rims are painted and cleared like your car, i get stubborn stuff off with a rubbing compound and then wax them, makes em look nice and easier to clean next time
|
how do I post them within the actual post and not as attatchments ....

i went to autozone the other day and couldnt find any,so i just picked up some aromorall wheel cleaner for like $4 and it worked pretty good. ps. upstatenya4, what part of bing are you from?i dont think ive ever seen your car around :( lol |
I'm in Chenango Bridge, but I work in Johnson City. I'm all over the area though - been in Vestal a lot this past couple weeks. If you see me out, flag me down and we'll talk. You should come by the house sometime when we're working on cars.

i have oem rims and what Ive found works best is car shampoo. I get these at about $7.00 a gallon in Costco. A few drops in a bucket of water is all thats needed. foam it up, grab a sponge and get to it. Brake dust, road grease and grime are gone.
