How to hook up a MBC

Ok after thousands of pms regarding the hook up of an mbc I will make a post about it. Now remember running an mbc is a safe way to control boost ONLY IF YOU RUN THE RIGHT AMOUNT, ONLY RUN WHAT YOUR PROGRAM CALLS FOR.
Just slapping one on cranking it way up is a sure way to blow your turbo and or motor. if you turn it way up you will run your car lean (not enough fuel) and bad things happen. Or you could over work your turbo and blow it that way. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...0001_large.jpg

yeah i have heard it's more effective to run it straight with the n75 still plugged in, rather than looped with the n75. im doing this soon. hopefully it will get rid of my boost problems

That is the "over boost" install. That is only really needed when you buy a ball and spring mbc and try to use it on a stock/k04 turbo, not a very good idea. If you just run a bleed/gated mbc you can just eliminate the n75 altogether and have total control with no spiking and smooth boost transition. If you also what to run the n75, you can just insert it in after the n75 and eliminate all the cluster fu(k that the overboost method creates.
