01Audi A4 radio doesnt power up after jump start
 

Hi everyone,

I was travelling internationally over the last month and had my car sit in the garage for about 10 days and forgot to do anything to ensure that the battery doesnt get discharged. So the battery got discharged, I jump started it and then bought one of those chargers that you can plug in the wall socket and it will keep your battery charged. The problem is that now the stereo system isnt working :(. Its an Audi symphony system. The problem is It doesnt power up at all. I have had to jump start my car a few times in the past and the radio always work afterwards. So I am kinda confused now. Any insights/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Pull the radio , some of them have built in fuses on the back.

I finally pulled the radio after driving around with no radio for 4 months and it was the fuse that was blown. Problem is, now i cant find a fuse of that exact amperage (it uses a 7.5 A) with wide blades. Any idea where i could find one of those?
