Exclamation 03 a4 3.0 Bose radio cuts out after 5-10 min of driving

Has anyone encountered this problem and know of a solution. This seems to have begun after replacing the cars battery. It works fine for a while then cuts out. The display is still on, seems that functions on the radio still work, but no sound comes out. I was thinking it was something heat related like a transistor? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Default bad speaker could cause that

Try turning on the system for the few minutes it does play and put an ear to each speaker and listen for any of them out or any that sound bad . Check them all including tweets , if any don't sound right it could be your culprit .the amp are designed to clip or go in to protect mode in the event it senses a short on any of the speakers, believe me it only takes one. speakers when they go dont always blow to an open circuit in some case the voice coils + & - can short together
