Default '13 allroad 12vdc switched power source

I'm in the process right now of installing an Escort 8500ci radar detector in my '13 allroad. This is the type that gets installed permanently into the car. The brain box that goes under the dash needs a 12vdc circuit that get's switched on/off with the ignition. I've done this in many cars for years with no problem, but in this car I'm stumped. Every fuse in the left and right fuse panels, and the big fuses under the dash, have 12v on them all the time, even when the ignition is off. I can't find a cold circuit anywhere that only gets hot with ignition.

Help! Can anyone tell me where to find a switched circuit under the dash?

Thanks,

JR

Good news, I figured it out. On the left fuse panel there are three columns of fuses. In the left column there are three fuses mounted vertically instead of horizontally like all the others. These three vertical fuses are hard to spot in that they are obscured by the pink retainer ring the goes around the perimeter of the column (never seen this before, seems unnecessary). They are also hard to spot in the owners manual. Anyway these three are switched. It was easy enough to identify a black/purple wire from the back of one of them and tap it as a source for my radar detector. Works as it should, and was very easy once I was on the right track.
