2005 Audi A8 MMI Unit
 

Can anyone please tell me where I can buy the unit that includes the motor and gears that raise and lower the screen for my MMI in my 2005 Audi A8? It is the part that is labeled "20" in the schematic on this website.

I'm not sure where you can get that entire unit.

However if you go to Ebay and search for "Audi MMI Gears" you will find lots of people selling the gear repair kits. That's what usually needs replaced if you have a grinding sound and the screen won't go up and down. The repair is not difficult, just takes a bit of patience.
