I am currently receiving error messages on my dash that both my left and right brake lights are out, but both of them are actually functioning properly. Also, the high third brake light is not functioning, but I am not receiving an error message for that. I have read about a lot of people having brake light switch issues, but none of them seem to be the same set of symptoms that I am currently dealing with.

Does the high third brake light give its own dash error message? Or does it display that both the left and right brake lights are out when I only need to simply replace that LED high third light strip?

Or do all of these various symptoms point to replacing the brake light switch?

All parts involved are stock from the manufacturer.

I don't know if this has ever been answered before, but I could not locate it.
