Default 2011 A4 MMI interface optimization

Picking up a new A4 this week hopefully. On order and waiting. From what I understand there is a way to play movies through the inboard screen, swipe the needles and teeter with the remote to make windows go down. Any insight or recommendations of how I can get the program, patch cable or other device to put these factory features to the "ON" position? Im told Audi reprograms those features but never activates them, for obvious reasons.

I have the same A4 but 2009 year. I just got a new device that was installed into the head unit. Through this device i connected the dvd and a navigation system - so i even have an internet connection. I don't know if those options are done by the manufacturer an we can switch them on.

uhh i am a retard... if you have navi package aka 3g mmi you can play dvds... i think it shuts off after you travel up a certain speed though.. because of legal reasons. there is a way to disable this though... i'm not sure why you would want to do that
