So I have a 2003 a4 quattro 1.8t. recently I had my ABS and traction lights come on fairly regularly, on start up and while driving. When this happens my speedometer also zeroes. I figured that this was an ABS module failure, possibly just a wheel sensor. However, today when I left for work the car beeped at me 3 times from the dash. No lights other than ABS/traction. When I left work to go home, the car beeped at me 4 times. Get home, park my car, go to start, nothing. Starter clicks but not cranking. During this, my radio also fails to turn on and my dash lights slightly dim every couple of seconds. If I turn the key for power (not ignition stage) it will not beep constantly like it usually does. Sometimes I beeps once or twice, sometimes not at all. I have also noticed my front left speaker cuts out when I open the door. Aside from that, my security system alarm dies or is now dead.
Has anyone got any insight into this? Fuses in the driver fuse box seem okay. My best guess is that there is an electrical issue somewhere, just don't know where to start. Forgot to add, battery's giving 12.8 volts. Should I just take it in to an electrical specialist?
