Default amp pin-out

Im trying to install a sub and amp into my '05 a4, I don't have the bose system and Its a stock head unit. I am splicing off of the stock amp, does anyone have the pin-out for the 8E5 035 223 model amp? or know which wires are the RCAs?
Thanks

The wires that are connected to the speaker are the ones that you will tap into, you much be using a hi/lo level converter right?

Most amplifiers (except for the Audiophile ones, like Boston Acoustics) have high or low level in. If your amp has that, don't worry about the hi/lo converter. If it doesn't have it, ignore me, and congrats on the Boston Acoustic amp lol (I think there are a few others too that don't have it...oh well lol)

Hey,

I also try to install Bose amplifier to my Audi a4. I was searching for the wiring layout, and only found this :

the connector seems to look exactly the same as mine, the part number of the amp is 4DO 035 225. If anyone has another layout, please share it.

Yeah, thats the one I have in my car, it worked for me ('03 A4 1.8TQM With Bose Symphony, no Nav). Just make sure its lined up right, it seemed "upsidedown" when I got out to the car. Actually the car audio "Specialist" said I was out of phase, he was none to pleased when I told him I knew slightly more about electrical engineering than him and his Fluke Multimeter would not be picking up the polarity of the signal line, it was just displaying whatever phase it was in when he connected it. He then said to use speaker-level setting on the amp when I specifically told him I was DAMN sure I was using low-level. He just didn't want to refund me for the POS Pioneer Sub I bought from him a week prior because it filled my car with smoke.

Just use a multimeter to make sure you have the right cables, as far as polarity, your going to have to go off the chart, and by ear. Some people can pick up when something is out of phase, some cant. If you have trouble, buy a test CD. Or PM me I think I have an image of one somewhere, I'll send it over.
