Audi A4 (B5) 1.8T F/L - Won't Start!
I sincerely hope someone can help me here...
I have an Audi A4, 2001 Facelift Edition, 1.8T This morning I drove to work, and the car just died on me. I towed the car home, after several failed starts, and started troubleshooting. I found that the Fuel Pump does work, when I put 12V directly onto it. However, when I crack the engine, the pump only comes on for a second or two. I then bridged out the FPR (Fuel Pump Relay) and the same story. After I left the car (On a slight downward position) it started again, but also for a few seconds only. I've spoken with a few workshops, and browsed the forums, and I did check for fire on the Coil Packs, that's OK, however, I cannot test the Ignition Module (Situated above the Airflow Sensor) nor can I check the Crack Angle Sensor. Any Ideas of what it can be, as I can't fork out Thousands of Moolah to get every "Suspicious" part replaced. |
