I just bought a 2001.5 Audi S4 and I purchased a phatnoise phatbox (modified it to be 120 gig's =))

I've been casually looking at Navigation Units and so far, from what I've seen, the Avic D3 seems to be the best bang for the buck, except for the fact that it doesn't have a built in hard drive. I would be ok with this, as long as I could still get my phatbox to play music. Is it still possible to hook upthephatbox after the D3 has been installed or am I SOL?

 

nah with the D3 you can use the AUX imput in the back...... However i forget if it comes with the unit or if u have to buy the $50 piece from pioneer.... then only downfall if u hgave to plug it in and stull use the phatbox to controll what song is playing.... I would look into the Avic Z1 built in hard drive, voice recognition, everything imaginable... bluetooth all that... i think ive seen them for like $1400-1600 on ebayy.

 

Also peep www.avic411.com I have the Z1 and because it has the HD, I think it's the best bang for the buck...
