Default B5 Solution for radio signal lost whit aftermarket radio

Hello Every One !

Please excuse my english, im not very good. But for those who are experiencing problems receiving radio with a aftermarket radio, I got the solution.

In the A4 no Avant, the Antenna amplifier is located in the rear window.
I saw all other buy an antenna amplifier at cicuit city or else where... you dont need to spend your money for this problem!

The Oe radio except the delta model bring the 12v to the amplifier by the center pin of the antenna wire. then whit the new aftermarket radio the antenna amplifier dont get this 12v.

In all case you have to buy a Antenna Adapter. Some come whit a antenna amplifier ... 30-40 $... other whit juste a wire for the 12v .. 12-15$ ... . For me, i buy a adaptor whit noting just for 10 $.

then you just need to plug a little 16 or 18 awg wire to the center pin of the Oe antenna wire and connect it to the 12v accesories (yellow wire) of the Aftermarket radio.

thats it thats all

For other that got a Delta radio, the 12v go to the amplifier by the pin 5 of the black socket number III of the oe radio

Et VoilĂ*! Every A4 b5 will got the entire radio signal it must got!
