quick question, i have a windows mobile device, and am considering buying a 2006 AUDI A6 4.2 QUATTRO S-LINE, and am curious about the blue tooth connect-ability. does the Audi accept audio/ video streaming/ file sharing?

Not as Audi OEM as far as I've been able to tell from either the docs/specs, or just messing around with it. Bluetooth seems to be just limited to phone, which I use. I've an 06 A6. I would have loved to have it; seems the only way is to replace the cd player with an $$ MMI box.

 

Yes, you should be able to get bluetooth audio streaming in a 2006 Audi A6. Your car needs to have AMI, AMI USB cable, Bluetooth adapter, and you may need to update your MMI software. Total cost may be more than US$1200.00 (830 for AMI, 300 for AMI cable, blue tooth adapter, software update, $200 for Retrofit cable/narness kit) plus labor.

 

Same here, just bought BT adapter to do wireless streaming of music. Been using the tune2air 3000A, works really good for me.
